![]() I don't know what their agreement was for the display. This would be between Neptune (SKY) manufacture and Neptune (aquarium store). This is just my understanding based on what information is out there. So his results may actually be a bit later due to this. One thing about Dana (again I do not know him personally) is that he actually follows up with the manufacture on the results, findings, and questions for a more accurate report. I'm not sure how busy Dana is these days in his retirement (he is usually pretty busy at least when I used to visit the other forum) but I would expect his results to come out after. I don't believe they can do that until Neptune gives them the green light. I found the BRS video that was posted yesterday interesting since they said they may have numbers next week to share. I'm sure more and more info will come out as they progress further along. So it has been revelled, we see pictures, videos, and demonstrations at conventions. I am assuming here but that is why you are not seeing any test results since this is still on-going. Based on the last Lets Talk Reef they lifted the NDA so that some of the NSI users can speak a bit more freely about their experience and post videos and/or pictures but they still have rules in place since it isn't launched yet. I'm interested to see Dana's results but that is again just a test lab. Hobbyist will need to have a list of goals if they want to upgrade or migrate. Priced is aligned with similar offerings by other manufactures. Two different ways of managing heat yet provide that spread. They are going with more LED's (153 I think) but running them at lower power (or so I read) for thermal management and external supply compared to Philips using more heatsink. Similar model to Philips Gen 2 with passive cooling but went about it differently. They ignored ATI Straton yet hint it will be tested soon or is on the list. I guess my nit pick here is that they really should ignore the spectrum and just say they prefer blue so it isn't for them. ![]() On the flip side they like the form factor, cooling, spread and included power supply. We know they love the blue look so obviously this light wouldn't be for them. They continue to allude it being an inferior light due to it being a more natural spectrum. I still don't understand their stance on the Philips Gen 2 light. I'm guessing if you want shimmer this would be the route to go. They have them over the in-house tanks and Ryan swapped over to them at home although will use 2 x a360x Kessil's. ![]() Both NSI user and a tester / reviewer of the light. Some of the older amusement machines still exist in the building, like the Metal Typer machine and the crazy mirrors. They are in an interesting position. ![]() In 1989, after the Loma Prieta Earthquake, the old miniature golfcourse was demolished and the entire facility was remodeled. In many ways the elimination of the Plunge marked the end of the Boardwalk's original purpose, since the site began as a bathhouse. However, in 1963 the building was repurposed and made into the a mini golfcourse, due to the declining interest in indoor swimming. This was also the location of the Water Carnival, where aquatic acrobats and "human submarines" would come to perform superhuman feats. Historically, the building used to hold a large indoor pool called the Plunge. The Barbary Coast Restaurant serves burgers, deli sandwiches, and espresso. Entertainment features at Neptune's Kingdom include the Smuggler's Arcade, with pinball machines and video games downstairs, the upstairs' Captain's Game Deck with eight pool tables, air hockey, fosse ball, snacks, and beer, and Buccaneer Bay, a two-story 18-hole miniature golf course.
